The snowfall effect shown here was created as an ornament for the myTriggers website during the 2007 Christmas season. Each snowflake is an independent object with numerous parameters including shape, placement, rotation, size, speed, and vector. Randomizing each of these parameters creates a unique effect which never repeats. Additionally, by using a z-index layer and transparent w-mode, the snowfall can be superimposed over the header of the site without impacting the functionality of navigation items and form fields.
